Ryu Watanabe

Ryu is a second year student at the Sauder School of Business currently intending on pursuing operational logistics or global supply chain. This is Ryu’s fourth year with the program and is excited to make this year the biggest and most impactful year for the delegates of the 2019-2020 chapter. In his free time, you’ll find him indulging himself at Ramen Danbo!

Sarah Kamimura

Sarah is a second year at the SFU Beedie School of Business and this will be her fourth year with the YIP program. She is excited to share her knowledge of the program, and financial literacy in general with the all the new delegates this year, along with work with the talented new executive team! In her spare time, she enjoys shopping and taking naps.

Elizabeth Hui
VP Marketing

Elizabeth Hui is a first year student at the UBC Sauder School of Business with a passion for social entrepreneurship. This is her third year in the program and she is excited to meet all the students and to help contribute to such a rewarding experience. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys swimming, trying out new restaurants, and watching movies.

Anthony Dy Ning
VP Operations

Anthony is currently a first year student at the Sauder School of Business hoping to specialize in finance in the future. Anthony has been part of the Young Investor Program as a delegate, ambassador, and is excited to be the VP Operations this year! He hopes that he will be able to provide the best experience for all the participants! In his spare time, you can find Anthony watching Netlifix, hanging out with friends, and eating food.

Isabela Moise
VP Internal

Isabela loves to seize any opportunity related to business, communications, or academic excellence. In addition to volunteerism, and Entrepreneurship, Isabela finds her passion within business competitions, be it in leading one of the largest competitions in the lower mainland, or competing at internationally -staged events. As such, through first hand knowledge of the benefits of such opportunities, Isabela cannot wait for such development to be shared at YIP 2020!

Jeffrey Peng
VP Finance

Jeffrey is a second-year student at the UBC Sauder School of Business, and he is intending to double specialize in finance and accounting for a consulting career path. This is his fourth year with the Young Investor Program. He is excited to spread finical literacy among high-school students and spark their passion for business. In his free time, he enjoys badminton, reading science fiction and photography.

Lulu Wang
Director of Sponsorships

Lulu is currently a first-year student doing an undeclared major at the University of British Columbia. She has been with YIP since her Grade 10 year, both as a former participant and an ambassador. Now, as one of the two Director of Sponsorships, she is ecstatic to meet the new participants and to make YIP 2020 an unforgettable experience!

Janice Oh
VP Marketing

Janice is a grade 12 student currently attending Port Moody Secondary School and this will be her third year with YIP. Following her passion, she is absolutely thrilled to be one of the VP’s for Marketing. Upon graduation she hopes to attend UBC Sauder School of Business. She cannot wait to make the 2020 session exciting and memorable. In her spare time, she loves to play basketball, snowboard, and surf.

Raphael Dai
VP Operations

Raphael Dai has been with YIP since 2017 and the program has immeasurably widened his insight to business and pushed him to be more involved in the community. Currently as a BBA student, YIP assured his interest in business, allowed him to gain experience in a professional environment and gave him the opportunity to grow within the program. YIP’s curriculum and workshop style educate high-school student on personal finance and personal branding, which have immense effects for post-secondary education and future job seeking.

Andy Nguyen

Andy is a grade 12 student at Port Moody Secondary and is excited for his third year with YIP. Ever since his experience as a participant, he has developed a passion for competing, public speaking, and finance. He is devoted to contributing to the high school business community by taking part in and promoting various business programs and competitions. He looks forward to meeting other students who share a similar passion at YIP.

Allyson Lara
VP Corporate Relations

Allyson is a second year student at the UBC Sauder School of Business. In addition to handling Corporate Relations for the Young Investor Program, you can find her at a local library trying to conquer her next creative task, running around from meeting to meeting, or catching the next best opportunity for an adventure.

Ashley Liu

Ashley is a first-year student studying at UBC Sauder School of Business. YIP marked the start of Ashley’s passion in commerce and has taught her the importance of financial literacy. This is her third year with YIP and she is excited to continue pursuing her passion while helping other delegates find theirs. In her free time, Ashley enjoys to draw, binge dramas and go out to eat with friends and family.
